Dr. Rafael Moguel - Interventional Cardiologist & Director, Clinics of the Heart: Dr. Moguel was born in the state of Chiapas Mexico and grew up (not too much) in the state of Veracruz. He married Virginia Samaniego, also a cardiologist, 25 years ago. Dr. Moguel studied and practiced Cardiology in Mexico City, Interventional Cardiology in Barcelona, pacemaker technology in Minneapolis, and catheter-based carotid and brain intervention in Atlanta. 	Kandy Stahl - Patient Liaison & Social Media Administrator: Kandy was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After earning her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and completing a residency and fellowship in Pediatrics at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, she entered the ranks of academia. Having spent almost 20 years in higher education, both as a professor and an administrator, she and her husband (Chuck Long) decided it was time to retire early and enjoy life. They moved to Cozumel, Mexico in December, 2010. In March 2017, Kandy joined the team at Clinics of the Heart. She serves as the Social Media Administrator and as Patient Liaison.
